Savage's Ale House, located in downtown Muncie, is just a great place to kick back and enjoy a beer and a good burger. With a wonderfully wide selection of beers and a relatively large food menu, Savage's beats out more expensive places like Scotty's Brewhouse, and eating or drinking there does not only save you money, but supports a local business. The bar resides in an older building, resulting in a rustic interior with high ceilings. Daily specials help you stretch your buck. The burgers are delicious, and cooked perfectly, and their french fries are the crinkle cut kind (the best kind).
